Name: Chelle Valentia
Nickname?: Nope
Age: 19, August 2
Gender: Female
Sexuality: ???
Personality: Chelle is an odd girl, owed in part to her upbringing. She is very stoic and emotionless, showing little other than disgust and hatred. Indeed, the only word to really describe Chelle is the word
bitch. Unlike Tara's bitchiness, Chelle reaches a whole new level. She simply does not care about lower level things such as life forms, a trait inherited from her mother.
Looks: God parent: Melinoe
Power(s)?: Ghost physiology
Backstory: Chelle was born in the Underworld. As a minor goddess with no other children, Melinoe raised the baby down below, in her palace secluded from other immortal eyes.
Chelle was an unusual, yet gifted child. From a young age, Melinoe nurtured her powers and taught her to play to her strengths. It is because of Melinoe's influence that Chelle is who she is today.
When Chelle was 8, Melinoe brought her to camp, leaving her in the care of Chiron and the older campers. Chelle went back to the underworld once in a while for Melinoe to appraise her powers and give her something more to work on.
Chelle dislikes when people know stuff about her, so much of her past is kept in shadow.
Strengths: Chelle's swordfighting leaves little to be desired, as does her knifethrowing. She is very determined when it comes to her goals, and she has it in her to be kind and loyal, though she rarely exercises this. Her heart is guarded past the point of really being guarded, and when she says "casual," she means it.
Weaknesses: Chelle has mild social anxiety and very little people skills. In addition, she's not good with emotions, whether they're other people's or her own. She also cannot do archery to save her life, and competitively, she refuses to lose or be on the bottom.
Weapon(s): Similar to Nico's sword,
Trance is a three-foot long sword with a double-edged blade of stygian iron and diamond. The diamond side glitters and shines, but the stygian iron side is darker than a nightmare (and not the kind dressed like daydreams, either). The two sides of Chelle's sword represent the two sides of her mother and herself: dark and light, and, like her mother, in perfect balance.
