Backstory: Jane was born in Mexico to a single mother who sold vegetables and fruit from a fruit cart in the town market. Her life was hard and full of strife but Jane always persevered. She was the best student at her crumbling school and won student of the year. When the monsters came, she wasn't prepared for them. Only because of her satyr did she survive at all.
