The Library

~Judal
I lay down as usual on the couch, reading the first book in The Chronicles of Narnia, called The Magician's Newphew. At least, it was the first book chronologically, but was published later in the series. Quite the confusion, but still a good book nonetheless.

~Chris~

In my usual daily search for Judal, I look in the library, unsurprised to find him lounging in his usual spot. I fling myself onto his lap.

~Judal
"How'd you find me?" I ask, surprised as I look up from my book. While most times I was attentive to the world around me, when I was reading even loud music could not disturb me.

~Chris~

I give him a deadpan expression.

~Judal
"That predictable, huh?" I ask, biting my lip. "Guess I'll have to find someplace else. Anyways, what brings you here?"

~Chris~

"Maybe I just wanted to visit my boyfriend," I say, putting extra emphasis on the word 'boyfriend'. "You know I don't read, I don't know why you asked."

~Judal
"Don't be hard on yourself, hardly anyone at camp does read, save for some Athena children and then a few others here or there, such as myself. I'm in the minority here," I say, putting the book down for now and pulling him down for a kiss.

"If you're bored, we can go walk on the beach. I've been reading for a few hours already, and my back hurts."

This was, of course, not entirely true, but I'd finished my chapter anyways.

~Chris~

"Nah, you can read," I say, scooting off him and onto the sear next to him. "Maybe I like watching you," I wink.

~Judal
For a moment I wonder if Viridian had told Chris about my scrying, but I brush the worry away for the moment. Why would she have told him?

"Take a picture," I joke. "It lasts longer," I continue, ignoring my book. I don't check to see where he's looking, instead keeping my eyes elsewhere.

"I'm considering asking Chiron to make a snack bar for the library; the Mess Hall is too far," I complain, even though they were in the same building, albeit on opposite sides. "Speaking of which, would you like a peach?" I offer, grabbing one from by my feet. With a flick of my wand, it was washed clean, and I bit into it.

~Chris~

I steal Judal's peach, biting into it myself and handing it back to him.

~Judal
"Hey, that was mine!" I cry, pretending to pout as I watch the juices drop down his chin out of the corner of my eye.

"None for you," I finish, scooping up all the peaches into my lap.

~Chris~

I only smirk.

~Judal
"Hmph," I say, flipping myself so that my face was stuffed into the couch. He could smirk all he wanted, but it wasn't going to work.

~Chris~

I trail a finger down his spine lightly, smirk having given way to a more tender expression.

~Judal
"Carry me to my room, I'm tired," I groan, even though all I'd been doing was laying on my ass all day.

~Chris~

I laugh. "As you wish, your majesty," I say, picking him up and taking him to his cabin.

~Juliette~
Letting out a breath, I take a seat at one of the library's tables. The quiet is nice, enough to clear my headache and let me get to work.

I pull out my sketchbook and stare at the drawing from earlier, a long white lacy dress. Actually, the more I look at it, it could make a nice wedding dress... Maybe I should start on a wedding line, too. I shrug, placing the two samples of lace next to it and staring at them intently.

I enter the library, looking for someone who I knew usually hung out here.

"Hey Ju-" I began, but instead, when I entered, I happened upon my ex, Juliette. Great.

"Oh, um, sorry. I was just looking for someone, but I guess they're not here."

~Evelyn~
I sticked the shelves in the library before I saw the awkward meeting. I peeked my head through the shelves to hear better.

~Juliette~
"Sometimes we find the best things when we're not looking," I say, winking. Although they were invisible to everyone else, I pull the threads away from the table so that my view isn't obstructed by the tangling red strings. They pull away easily, stretching but never breaking.

"Sit with me. I need an opinion and you just arrived at the most perfect time, mon cher."

~Evelyn~
This was quite scandal. Would they get together again? I thought as I looked in between the bookcases.

~Damien
"Juliette, I'm not sitting with you, alright? We broke up."

~Evelyn~
I gasped slightly before I covered up my mouth to make sure they didn't find me. How can he be so rude? I thought as I shook my head slightly.

~Juliette~
"That... doesn't mean we can't be friends, right?" I say, my smile dissolving into a frown. I wind one of the threads nervously around my finger and bite my lip in attempt to keep myself from getting upset.

~Damien
"You tell me. You broke up with me, remember?"
