Personality: Zane doesn't necessarily have a sassy attitude - he just normally doesn't take shit from others. He's fairly unconventional compared to other Athena characters (more on the clever, philosophical side), but he's just as smart as his half-siblings.

Power(s)?: Zane has the ability to gain knowledge intrinsically (without physical means), though the process is tiring. He's also shown another ability recently (mainly against Adrian) he has the ability to jam someone's thought processes using logical paradoxes.
Backstory: Zane Adamson was born to a Korean-American father in Portland, Oregon. A clear-sighted librarian, Mr. Adamson (who's parents immigrated from South Korea) sought to raise his son to full potential, getting him started on learning Korean, Spanish, and German. However, Zane quit halfway through German, claiming he didn't find any use for the language.

At the age of thirteen, Zane came across an open copy of Plato's Symposium - having finished it in under two minutes, he began to grow interested in philosophy and went to ask his father for more copies... unfortunately, what he got instead were packed bags. It was at this moment that Mr. Adamson told Zane of his true nature, and he was sent across the country to Camp Half-Blood. He has been there for 4 years.
Strengths:

• Smart ass: Zane is insanely clever. He's a pun genius, a philosophy nut, and if he doesn't know something, he manages to figure it out with ease. There's not a jam he can get out of, "and that makes everyone else jelly."
  
• Combat-oriented: Despite his build, Zane can wield a variety of weapons, as long as he knows where to shift his weight.
  
• Social butterfly: Zane enjoys people. He's extroverted and open to conversation with anyone. He's rarely seen alone.
  

Weaknesses:

• Strained friendship: Zane's oldest friend at camp is Adrian Whitman, with whom he was once in a relationship two years ago. Having lost the brief romantic spark they had, Zane and Adrian still consider each other friends, though there's some mixed feelings about that.
  
• Different: Occasionally, Zane will feel a little outcasted by his half-siblings, simply due to his different take on knowledge.
