Khione Cabin

Crow

I push open the door and walk into the middle of the room. "Welcome to the Khione cabin. You can pick whichever bed you want other then the on with the statues by it," I say, pointing to my bed.

Aspen~
I feel a cool chill run down my spine as I walk into the cabin. I look around before deciding on the bed that was farthest away from his in case something did happen again

Crow

"So yeah, welcome to camp I guess, "I say, looking at one of my statues instead of her.

Aspen~
I nod putting my feet up in bed. "Those statues are very pretty"

Crow

"Thank you, others dont really appreciate them that much though," I say with a sad smile.

Aspen~
"My father used to carve ice in his free time" I admit with a sigh

Crow

"Wait are you being serious?" I ask

Aspen~
"Ummmm, yeah?" I say wondering why I would lie about something like that

Crow

"My dad did the same thing! His carvings are the only reason I've picked up the skill," I say with a smile

Aspen~
I smile slightly before quickly look away from him when I remember everything that happened.

Crow

"Hm? Is something wrong?" I ask

Aspen~
"No, I'm fine" I say with a small shake of my head

Crow

"Okay?" I mutter, before I laying back on my bed.

Maybe having a sibling wasn't all that I had thought it would be.....

Aspen-
I sigh as I head towards my backpack starting to unpack my stuff in silence

Crow

I jump off my bed, "Need any help with that?"

Aspen~
"No, I think I've got it there isn't really much" I admit as I put the 2 other pairs of clothes that I had away. The last thing that I take out of my backpack is a photo collage, there was a picture of my father and me and then one of my whole family, my father, stepmother and two younger step brothers. I bite my lip as I look at the picture. It was my fault... I killed them

Crow

"Oh," I say as I look at her look at the photo in her hand I see a look in her eye. A look that I know all to well.

I slowly and awkwardly go up and hug her.

Aspen~
As he embraces me I feel my body stiffen significantly. The temperature drops in the cabin and the floor around me starts to freeze

Crow

I do it, and have immediate regret.

"Look, You need to tell me what happened with them or to them, but you do need to realize that me saying that I'm your brother isn't me just giving you an empty gesture. I've stayed her with out anyone to call my own for far to long. I'm not going to let my first chance at sibling push me away because of her past."

Aspen~
I look at him with a mix of anger and sadness. I hadn't talked about this with anyone but I wasn't sure if I was even ready. "I- I- I- killed them" I say struggling to get the words out. "I'm a monster and I killed the only people that ever cared about me..."

Crow

I look at her with a blank stare, but I knew that wasn't what I needed to do.

"You didn't have control, right?"

Aspen~
"Of course I didn't have control...." I say feeling myself starting to get upset the ice on the ground spreading through the cabin

Crow

"You didn't know how your powers worked yet. You shouldn't blame yourself for that." I say, trying my best to slow the ice from spreading.

Aspen~
"It's not that I didn't know how they worked. I didn't know that they even existed!"

Crow

"Then you had no way of stopping what happened."
